3D simulation for a Space operation project! Get involved!

Hello everyone,

I'm an engineering PhD student who's working on an interesting Space project. I'm now at a stage where I need some relatively simple 3D simulations. I'm looking for someone to give me a couple of hours of their time to get those short video clips in return of acknowledgement in my final thesis. I'm also happy to pay a reasonable amount of money. For those who're interested, please read on:

I'm taking part in a project related to Computer vision and Space operations. I develop algorithms to interpret what is seen by monocular (single) cameras for sensing some particular phenomena in space.

As my research is still an early study of a specific case, 3D simulations are needed to validate algorithms which have been developed. What is needed is relatively very simple for those who know the how-to.

A sample of what is needed can be downloaded from here http://rapidshare.com/files/118248564/anim1.avi.html. As you will see, it's not complex but knowledge of reference frames, translation and rotation description, camera focal length and other properties is important as I need them for my calculations.

For example, I will need to know how fast and what equations are being used in 3D and not just something random.

That's it for now. I can give more details for those interested. Please let me know what you think and if you're willing to help. Also advice me of any costs required.

Sweet! Space and Simulation rolled into one. I like!

Trust no one. Least of all yourself...
