Hi all,

I have some items for sale (selling due to recent upgrade).

READ FIRST

*All bids are assumed to be 'plus post' (ie if you bid $30, I assume you mean '$30 plus whatever postage costs)
*All items will be securely packed- I'm not new to sending computer parts in the mail so don't worry, they will be well packed.
*Postage only- pick-ups aren't an option due to the hours I work
*Postage costs- I'll be sending from 2573, so use http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/ to work out an approximate postage cost to you to give you an idea of postage fees. I always err on the side of charging less for postage, and am happy to work with the buyer to arrive at a postage fee that is appropriate.
*You are responsible for making sure that whatever item(s) you buy will work as you intend them to (particularly the heatsink). Be sure to check the compatibility of any items before you bid.
*No PM bids
*Auction ends Sunday night (14.9.08) @ 10pm EST. Bidding instant means the item is yours, and once payment is confirmed I'll send the item to you regardless of whether the other items have been sold or not. Bidding reserve means you get the item if no-one bids higher before the auction ends on Sunday. So, if you want it fast, bid instant :)
*All items are around a year old (can't remember exact purchase times as it was a bit scattered).
*I'll offer DOA on the motherboard and video card- both were pulled out of a system in perfect working order.

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3P rev 3.3 motherboard

Reserve: $70
Instant: $85
Current Winning Bid: nicktangents $75

Link: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2455

This board doesn't need an introduction really. Simply one of the best 965 chipset based boards around. In great condition, comes in original box with original manual, driver disk, unopened never used cables (SATA, IDE, Floppy), I/O backplate. I ran this board paired with a e6420 overclocked to 3.2ghz and 4 x 1gb Corsair sticks as my main system for about a year. Only alteration to it are some thermlatake copper ramsinks on the mosfets around the CPU socket.

Thermalright SI-120 Heatsink w/ 775 adapter kit

Reserve: $30
Instant: $45
Current Winning Bid:

An excellent Thermalright heatsink that keep my e6420 cool and stable whilst running a 1ghz + overclock. With the right fan this will perform up there with the current high-end coolers, with the advantage of it being a fair bit lighter than many of the current ones. Comes in the original box with all of the original parts, including the un-used provided thermal paste and the optional adapter kit that allows fitting to 775 boards.

Panaflo 12cm Fan- Model: FBA12G12M

Reserve: $7
Instant: $12
Current Winning Bid:

Link 3 (PC Case Gear, same fan but the low speed version): http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_33&products_id=4562

Panaflo are considered to be the makers of some of the best fans on the market. These are not fans you buy for bling- they are 'all business' monsterous black fans. This one sat on top of the SI-120 and never missed a beat. It comes pre-wired with a 3 pin plug, but in hindsight to get the most out of it you really need to run it off a fan controller than can do 12v as that's what its rated at (DC 12v 0.45a). Works perfectly as a fairly quiet but good CFM fan.

Inno3d Geforce 512MB 8800GTS PCIe (G92)

Reserve: $100
Instant: $130
Current Winning Bid: amdDarcy $50

Link: http://www.inno3d.com/products/graphic_card/gf8/8800gts_512.htm
Review: http://www.tweaktown.com/articles/1234/nvidia_geforce_8800gts_512mb_g92_tested/

This is possibly for sale- I don't really need to upgrade it but I'm sort of in the mood to upgrade, so go ahead and tempt me :) Faster than a 8800gt and able to match it with the 8800GTX in some cases, would make a good upgrade for a slightly older PCIe system. Includes the original box and all accessories etc, the Inno3d sticker on the card was pealing off so I carefully removed it can cleaned the cooler- so its now just plain black. Never overclocked, but if you were willing I suspect it could easily be made to run and levels that would beat a stock 8800GTX.

Thanks guys, bid away :)

75 on mobo.

Btw typo in the Panaflo listing... if it's an 120cm fan for $12 instant, it's a bargain! 120mm? ;-)

LOL, right you are. If only panaflo made 120cm fans, and they would fit in my case.

Bid noted.

Bid noted. I was thinking more along the lines of 100-130 for it though. I might add a reserve and instant price now to make things less confusing.

I just extended the sale until Sunday, in case any forum upgrades cause any glitches :)
