This is a heads for all interested parties.
I was passing EB at Bondi Junction yesterday and saw that they are selling the Fallout triple pack (Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics) for $14.90 (half-yearly sale).
If you don't have these there is now no excuse not to get them at this price and if, and I mean if, for some reason you don't like them you’re not out of pocket by much really are you?

I don't live near Bondi Junction.
I live in Melbourne. Near the Blackburn rd / Ferntree Gully rd junction.
I have the Fallout games from years ago. They're great. -----

yeah i grabbed that at last year sale eheh.
this year i found a pack (can't rememebr name) which had all the baldurs gates, all the icewind dales and nwn1 +undrentide +underdark for $35!. The guy behind the counter said "well that should keep you entertained for while", some serious gameplay hours in that pack. -----

I saw this about a fortnight ago at the EB at The Glen.

I have to admit i just couldnt get into the fallout games. just a bit before my time I reckon. I didnt get into the turnbased nature of it and the graphics almost made my eyes bleed.
I even tried playing the original Baldurs Gate again today and I just couldnt get into it. yeah the story is ok but the graphics and interface are just so much better in more recent games. I find myself liking to play a game with the latest graphics and gameplay elements. Otherwise what is the point of spending lots of money regularly keeping your computer running at its peak if all your going to do is play old games? There are good games coming out regularly now that are well worth playing.
I am btw looking very much forward to the release of Fallout 3. It will be a pivotal moment in gaming history I believe. -----

I would say that all EB's have it. BJ had at least 10 copys when I was looking through it. -----
