I logged on to Steam a few minutes ago and found out they released some of the Rockstar Games games.
I got really excited hoping to purchase Manhunt but unfortunately, Aussies have been blocked out once again.
Well I know this isn't fair at all and they have their means but do they ever they realize that we are willing to throw in our money and pay for them.
The US and European dollar may be in conflict yet I don't see any point to their behaviour.

It's the Attorney General that was lame. Manhunt is banned here because anyt game harder rated than MA15+ can't be classified. If an R18+ were introduced for games, it'd probably be unbanned.
Write the new Attorney General if you wanna see this changed. -----

No they won't.
It's banned here, thus, they won't allow the sale due to there always being documented proof of sale knowingly to a zone who has banned the title.
They'd be mad to sell it to anyone living in a country that has it banned. -----

Yep, definately coz its banned, it was available here for a month or so upon release, but was soon taken off shelves, my brother got it the day it came out for ps2, he went to trade in his ps2 + games when he got his xbox 360 18 months ago and they refused to take manhunt off him, citing it was illegal, even to sell on ebay. -----

It's not just the Federal Attorney-General, but also the states Attorneys-General.
All of them have to agree before any change to the classification system can occur.
That's why we don't have an R18+ rating for games. -----

It isn't too complicated for them to give us a reason why and as I mentioned, I don't think its fair at all.
