I love this site. Usually not the cheapest, but they have a good range, their prices include shipping within Australia (for most things) and there's no surcharge for CC. Enter the details and things arrive the next day - I've ordered stuff at 4:50pm and had it on my desk in Adelaide at 9am the next morning. I've ordered about $6000 worth of stuff over about 5-6 orders in the last 2 years, including the complete parts for a system (I didn't get it assembled but they offered to). I've had 1 return that I've needed to do involving some HDDs with a minor firmware fault - even though the manufacturer considered it a non-fault, they happily exchanged them and were quick about it (4 day turnaround from me sending back the drives to getting the replacements). I only look elsewhere these days if they don't have the part.

Used these guys a few times over the last couple of years for network gear.
Good prices, quick and efficient, bang in your CC details, address etc and the gear arrives in a within a day or two. Never had to do returns so I can't comment on that.

Most of the other places I haven't dealt with enough, or recently to be able to offer a valid rating.

Good cheap prices and fantastic customer service, even on the weekends or nights I get responses. Only bad point is they take a bit longer than average to delivery, but they do make that clear from the start so you are prepared for it.

They are a US based site but have a pretty damn good range at prices that are a lot cheaper than locally. Even after shipping on $500 worth of goods it was cheaper than getting it locally (unfortunately). And they offer different levels of shipping to suit your budget. Their site feels a bit clunky though.

Nintek - 6/10

I have dealt with these guys for a while now and only recently have I seen their customer service drop somewhat. I ordered a part from them, noticed a cheaper price elsewhere and asked for a price match which they would have done but the order was already processed.

I asked if it was possible to cancel and re-order but because it would be in my order history it would be rejected. Being a repeat customer with them I was quite dissapointed with their service. I could understand if I had never used them before but that was not the case as I have spent lots of my hard earned cash with them and recommending them to family and friends.

This will not stop me from using them as they do ofer a great range of products at good prices. Perhaps my next order will see my rating of them improve, I hope so.

Bought stuff off them a couple of times.
First time recieved my stuff next day after they recieved payment. Not bad from Melbourne to Central West NSW.

Second time there was a slight delay for them getting something in.
So they asked me if I was happy for them to ship what they had off to me and then ship the rest as soon as it got in at no extra charge.
I cant complain about that service.

And last time I ordered something off them I again recieved it the next day after they recieved payment.

They have always answered their phones straight away. And rung me back when they said they would.

For networking equipment, or VoIP equipment they get 9/10 from me.

Regarding this, you do realise that cancelling an order and recreating it (and at a lower price) costs them money right? If the order had already processed you just have to live with it. Otherwise we could go running around to all the suppliers asking for processed orders to be cancelled just so you can pay them less when you reorder their price matched product. Regardless of how good a customer you are.
Seems a bit bitchy to me.

Good prices and great bulk deal, but could do with better customer service especially with the bulk deals. It doesn't take much for them to send an email out to bulk deal buyers letting them know the status, expecially since they might have paid a few weeks ago and are still waiting for the stock. I appreciate that bulk means more to ship, but I would like to know that you have received the stock or it is still on route rather than not hearing anything.

It took 3 weeks until they even processed my order. Postage costs were/are calculated offsite and I didn't know it was going to cost over $30 in postage for a videocard until I read the invoice. Will never deal with them again.

Slow order process, little or no communication when item's become back ordered. Will probably never deal with again, unless they have something I want that no one else has.

contrary to what others have stated, i've had nothing but great service, and fast delivery from these guys... i'd say i've put through about a dozen orders with them, all done fast, no problems with any of them, including a number of price matches, and order changes. fast delivery to tassie is rare, and considering they're a perth retailer, its even more amazing. next day delivery when the order was put through late the previous afternoon? fantastic.

But still, what you asked was completely unreasonable. Anyway.

Shikimaru - I think the layout needs changing, something like:
http://SHOP URL
Average score

Reviewer Comments

There seems to be too much focus on who is reviewing. Maybe even take the reviews out and just put the reviewer's name in there with their scores, let people find their particular review in the thread.

ok, i have taken your idea into consideration, and now it is more streamlined, however, i will not for ease of use sake, delete the reveiws from directly below the site name, as i think a user browsing for a site the've found via static ICE, will find it easier to use that way, instead of trying to find them in the maze that is all the replies
