Put my new 'puter together last week. Basically I was trying to go for upgrade potential for the future, and playing my favourite flight sims today. Anyway here goes

Case: Coolermaster Ammo
P/S : Thermaltake toughPower 750W moddular
MB: XfX 790i Ultra
CPU: Intel E8500 (Upgrade laterwhen fast Quad cores become cheap!)
Memory: 2GB Corsair 1066 DDR3 (upgrade increase later as price drops)
video: Inio 9800GTX ( add another card or two latter as price drops)
HDD: WD 320GB SATA2
OS: Windows Vista Home premium 64bit edition (Couldn't get my old XP Pro original to work! tried streamlining the service packs but no luck :( )

All went well until it died when I tried to flash the bios! (EEEEEK! I will never use windows flash programs again!!!! Lucky the guys at the shop where I got the bits were very unerstanding!)

Anyway hopefully it will let me upgrade over the next few years and keep reasonably competitive

Ok, well. My new system has been stress tested and is in use now & I love it!

Specs are;
Motherboard: Asus P5Q Deluxe
HSF: Coolermaster Hyper TX2
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
GPU: Inno3D GTX 260
RAM: 2GB Kit - OCZ Platinum Rev.2
HD: 2x 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F DT
Dvd: Pioneer DVR-216
Case: Antec Sonata Plus 550 (120mm TriCool Rear)
PSU: NeoPower 550
Front Fans: 2x 90mm Zalman Silent ZM-F2

Case was a bit tight for GTX, a little mod and it fits perfectly, albeit losing a hdd spot.
