XFX 8800Ultra XXX Vs. HD4870

I cant find any reviews comparing these two cards :S
I want to upgrade my system, yet I dont want to spend too much money, there are so many solutions, I was thinking of going to nvidia grabbing a 750i board Becasue i'm a major Nvidia Fan ECT, its all so confusing.

Atm i'm still using my shitty old XFX 8600GTS, I know that the XFX 8800 Ultra XXX totally pawns this 8600GTS, and i'm curious would the HD4870 beat the XFX 8800 Ultra XXX?

If so, I would be wrapped and would be willing to spend 350 on a new GFX Card, which btw is alot of money for me only being a teenager working at KFX 20 hours a week.

Thanks. Sorry if this is a noob question, I am afterall a pretty big noob XD

The HD4870 is much faster.

Of course the 8800 Ultra still plays games very well, if you can source one for the right price (less than $200) then it might be worth considering the Ultra.

The problem is that people don't want to let their 8800's go for that low, because they paid over $1000 just over a year ago lol.

Looks like a 4870 is the logical choice.

I think you should go with a GTX260. nVidia drivers are a bit better then ATI's... and less hassle. The price difference is minimal as is the performance difference. So yeah I say go with the GTX260.
