Ok I've got a mobo with onboard vid and a 9600GT, I've got my 22" running off the GT and i want to add 17" onto the onboard vid. I've got it connected up and the onboard vid enabled in the bios and windows wont recognise the on board video. Anyone know what to do?

Perhaps listing the chipset/IGP type or your M/B would be of use.

Is the IGP listed in the systems connected hardware list, but just as an unknown device?

If your M/B has an ATI/AMD based chipset then drivers may become an issue.

Depends on the mobo, some mobos just instantly disable any onboard when a video card is installed.

sorry peps i'm sick so the head is a bit clouded, I've got a Gigabyte GA-MA69G-S3H with on board x1250 IGP. I tried changing the first initial display to the onboard but it makes the 9600GT go stupid and just cut out
