TV Tuner. or Not, Watching Sports.!!

ok so. Here in the States. (yes I live in this Shit Hole, no jokes please).
So, I'm over in the states, and we have football here. it's amazingly fun to watch. and if you've played it as I have or get into it very much. It's all I want to do on sundays is sit home and watch football. So thats exactly what I did today. :):) it was great!

Anyways. Here's my problem. I have two 22 inch LCD's and I think why have to choose between the computer and the game, I wanna have the game on one screen. and then do stuff on my other screen and have myself a good old time.
So, Do I need a TV Tuner card in order to do this, is there any other ways of going about this? I have a 27inch tv in my room, but it's behind where i sit on the computer. would I run a wire from it, into the LCD screen. and watch the game that way. instead of getting a tuner.

Please let me know what you guys think, or whats the best way to get and or watch tv on the Computers LCD.

Thanks!

unless either screen has composite, component or hdmi there is no way you can connect a tv signal straight to it and even then those I listed would need a high def box to output the digital signal for the monitor. if you get a tuner you could buy a bigger hdd and setup your computer as a media center as well and record tv shows and stuff.

exactly.
take my card for instance, it's a DVICO DVB-T Dual Digital4, which allows me to watch one channel, whilst recording another, which is just brilliant.
you can get a decent card for between $50 and $200 - probably even cheaper over there in yankland

so TV tuner card it is.. cool, I might have to do that. just would be badass to be watching football, while shooting someone on Far Cry2 at the same time. :)

I'll be doing this in about a month when it's released. hehe

OBA does yours work with windows media center? if so how hard/easy is it to set up things like recording movies and stuff while no one is home.

it does work with Windows Media Center, I was using the version in Ultimate x64 before I sacked it - but, I've never done that sorry - I'm usually home - the supplied software looks pretty easy for recording whilst not at home - dunno about WMC....I'm running XP x64 now, so I can't check for ya either, sorry. but I guess that if it plays nice with WMC, there should be no problem.
