Hey dude,

I wonder if you can give me some help, i can OC my first 4870 that has the monitor attached. But the 2nd crossfired card doesnt work.

What happens is, i set the frequency to what i want, then click apply but i am given the message 'Settings must be tested before you can apply'. So i click test after completion the clock speeds just go back to what they were before.

I cant over clock the 2nd 4870 grrrr....such a pain in the arse!

With luck, maybe the next ATITool or RivaTuner will allow RAM latency settings to be tweaked on nV boards.

Yeah I was thinking about that... Maybe get the Viper BIOS or something. Pity I don't have a floppy drive, though I "should" be able to do it in windows...

I wouldn't recommend you flash it from within Windows.

You can use a flash drive, instead of a floppy disk.

It's quite a bit more risky.

It's always recommended you do it on boot.
