Any ATI or 4870x2 owners out there?

It has been a very long time since I have used an ATI Radeon Card, probably since 9600 series.

the CCC interface has changed a fair bit and there are alot of things I have no idea about.
* smoothvision HD AA has "Box,narrow-tent, wide-tent, etc, wtf is that?"
and since my video card is 4870x2, does my crossfire just work automatically? is there ways to set how the crossfire work? like how each GPU renders?

anyway, what I wanted to know is, anyone brave enough to read a quick guide on the CCC interface, or shares tips on how to get the best out of your Radeon card.

PS: I know nvidia has nTune for overclocking and fan adjustment stuff.. does ATI have something similar?

Yeah you can overclock it from the CCC, or download and run RivaTuner.

crossfire is enabled by default.

i'd suggest leaving all setting as they are if you are not aware of its function.

as with all new cards there isn't too much support currently, however ATi Tray Tools, Rivatuner and Expertool by Gainward will allow you to overclock, and of course CCC.

ATi-Tool doesn not support 4k cards.

An interesting bit I found was "Without AI enabled, Crossfire will not work" It is default enabled.

A new RivaTuner will be out by the end of the month, apparently, so don't stress about OCing, it'll come. AMD GPU Tool is okay, but the clocks do not store anywhere, which is a shame. RivaTuner 2.10 is what it's called, and it has support for all the new cards that have come out recently.
