$$$ ATi and nVidia Latest Drivers Thread $$$

Hey there everyone. Howzit going? =D

In this thread you will be able to find the latest drivers and hot fixes (that are necessary) for video cards of both ATI and nVidia. The latest Drivers are needed to help your computer perform to the best that it can, hardware is only as good as the software that is used with it. Drivers are also developed when a new game comes out so that the card can get the best performance out of the game, if you've ever attempted to run a game on a graphics card that has absolutely no graphics card drivers then you would know what I'm talking about =P

I will also post the previous drivers of the current ones, just in case anyone has any problems with the newer ones. A good example of this would be the problems with the 7.11 drivers and the X800 (I think) series, so those people would have to use the 7.10 drivers for the mean while.

Okay, so here we go:

Note: ATI/AMD were so clever that they decided to overwrite the original page from the drivers of the previous version, as such the links for the drivers are identical as before, and it looks that you won’t be able to access the drivers of the previous version unless you go to an alternative site. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Using these drivers, I got a 500 point increase on my 3D06 score at stock, over the 169.25 drivers. Simply copy and paste the modded .inf file into the extracted file, and install as usual. Definitely recommend them :)

Well seeing as how long AMD took the last time to deliver a driver set, all we have now is speculation for when and what. But hopefully it'll actually work on AGP cards...

AMD usually release a driver pack once a month, excluding last month it was about 40 or so days...

i suppose its better then getting a thousand tiny releases from nvidia every month

Sorry, there's nothing in there. Seems I already gave you all my money for all those special favours you asked for ;)

I prefer the millions of nVidia updates, it means that all the new release games always perform well within a few days, rather than the rest of the cycle till the next big release.

There was never a 169.24 driver released or leaked. only 169.21 then 169.25

any drivers after 169.17 have the performance enhancements for crysis

I hate the NVidia driver naming system.
I get so confused, hah.

ATi > All. (I'll never call them AMD unless i'm referring to CPUs :p)
