Unless you plan to keep your current system for another 2 years after nehalem is released then chances are if you buy another intel cpu your going to buy nehalem or a derivative. Given the entry level price of nehalem at launch it should be reasonably affordable for plenty of people in a short time span. Me, i'm waiting for the octocore version with simultaneous multithreading for 16 threads. But i'll see what amd can bring to the market too. cheers Edited by m0zes: 23/8/2008 7:43:28 AM -----

Im waiting to see what both camps bring out and if I can use my sli setup in it!
