Swiftech GTX water block

I am about to set up my loop and would like to know if anyone has successfully "bowed" this block or if not a success striped the threads attempting to?

I have replaced the original Aluminium top with a Copper one and found a thicker O-ring. Just a bit wary about starting the bowing...

What's this "bowing" you speak of?
Good luck with it though, let us know how much better it is.

If you put a larger O-ring in the block and tighten it up it will create a slight bow in the block making more central contact to the CPU. That's the theory away. As it is I couldn't find a suitable O-ring to fit but have a slight bow from the standard one buy tightening it right up.

Will have it all going soon
