Discuss: VIA quits motherboard chipset business

I had a brain bleed trying to troubleshoot that infinite loop crap that involved VIA chipset paired with XP and Nvidia GPU :(

via wasn't that shit i used to have a carputer with via everything and it was cool (cause it was small and could play warcraft 3 in the car, not that that ever happend)

chipsets are rapidly becoming history, its a good time to leave for via TBH, they have too much good IP elsewhere to worry about crappy chipsets that wernt making them any real money and have no future IP value

Soltek KT400 was my first motherboard from the first computer I built myself around 8 years ago, was pretty sweet..

DDR 400, AGP 8x and ATA133! blew me away! :)

I got an old MSI KT4V here... still chugging away, however this one is DDR333.
