I've got one of these big bastards:
http://tinyurl.com/5ltlua
(Link is to PCCaseGear, massive URL).

It worries me that the size of the thing is held on by the clips, but it cools quite nicely and very quiet. A touch expensive though.

Edit: for reference, I've got a Q6600 @ 3GHz and it stays under 40 degrees under load.

AC freezer 7 pro, or CM Hyper 212 both use them, but they're more tower style.

It fits fairly comfortably in my Antec P182, so you should be dandy with a Stacker.

I ended up cable tying it to a point in my case for a bit of extra support when the case is vertical - it's a very large cooler to be hanging off a motherboard (IMO).

i'm pretty sure the noctua NH-U12P doesnt require any extra clips, comes with everything required. also did well in Atomics cpu HSF roundup - won the best value award. i'll be buying it.

Nah reb, the Noctua needs the full mobo out backplate locking system that other's like the TRUE have, MyAlbanianAss is talking about the clips that hold down the stock Intel coolers.

There is a little bit of a heat difference between a quad like Shorty has and a dual like you have. Shorty's temps actually look really good.

No, they probably take about 5 minutes more to install than the stock clips and do a much better job, the real problem people want to stop is having to take out their motherboard. That said, with my motherboard in I have never had an easy time installing the clips, most of the time I just take the mobo out for ease.

Yeah I praise my TT BT VX for being easy to instal and being and absolute bomb for good cooling.

Too lazy to take the motherboard out of the case. Connectors and other things get warn out.
