The first thread doesn't seem to respond at all - 'cause it's not telling the app that it's finished so it's not giving a result (should say process completed in...)

Ctrl+Alt+Del, if it doesn't already, give wPrime.exe access to both threads (set Affinity).

bahahaha 70 seconds for the memory blt...(that should take 1-2 seconds on modern systems :P - sounds like virtual memoire is kicking in)

Beta 3 has the same problem as beta 1. Just gives an error report thing.

Something weird i just noticed. beta 2 and 3 both use 50% CPU useage when sitting idle. Very strange. Also the useage is spread across both cores, not just 100% of one core.

I like that you are adding more things to the help list :)

And affinity is set to both cores, so dunno what the problem is :S

Sounds just like a threading problem with your system.

The 50% idle should all be on one core - that's just a quick fix thing I did to continually detect input in the console - I'll fix it when I put the next official beta.

nar, the same boot...

and it was only about 30 minutes old that boot... as i had a power out here not that long ago...


the only change i had was moving it into my fibrechannel arrays, rather then temp space, where ever that was....

No longer caches results so should be slightly faster for low memory systems.

Also addressed a few of the threading issues.

Added a few extra features.

Changed the interface slightly - type "help" for commands, or "st 5" to start the test. I haven't tried the really large tests yet so anything above 7 may overflow or just outright freeze (running it now in a terminal session - not home atm - it's sure giving the ol' 4x4 platform a run for it's money).
