100% crop (very -slight- sharpnening in photoshop, smart sharpen, 35%, 0.6 px radius).

That's about on par with the canon EF 50mm f/1.4, which cost me about $420 when the $USD was near equal to Australia. Very nice.

btw, isn't it f8 and be there?

Yep, its f/8 and be there, which is a statement about lenses and their maximum sharpness before dropping off due to diffraction, this is a parody ;)

Potential resolution of a lens drops as you close the aperture, so if its peaks past the sensor @ f/4, its good news for much denser sensors, where the diffraction limit of a particular lens will be lower.
