I've got a client who wants a site in .NET/ASP. I've got sweet fuck all idea what is out there, given we do everything in PHP. It doesn't have to be a free solution, but nothing that will break the bank. Usual features, news, decent forum section and a fair bit of customisation. Ideas? Does it have to be ASP? Is there a logical reasoning for this? I personally don't like ASP but that's me. Also seems like most ASP stuff is commercial :< ----- Mreow? http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/forums.asp?s=2&c=9&t=17306

+1 for dotnetnuke. Quote by superfireydave Does it have to be ASP? Is there a logical reasoning for this? I personally don't like ASP but that's me. Also seems like most ASP stuff is commercial :< Yeah I don't like ASP either. It's rubbish. ASP.NET though, is sweeter than candy. Check out monorail http://www.castleproject.org/ , a port of the 'ruby on rails' rails framework, to asp.net.
