Scanning business cards.

I get a lot of business cards, and it's a real pain managing them all. I'm going to start putting them in marked folders, but that's not a great solution.

What I want to be able to do is scan them with my flatbed scanner, and have the details exported to an entry in Address Book so I don't have to do it manually.

I know there are special business card scanners you can buy that probably do all this, but I don't want to spend $200 when I already have a perfectly good scanner. All I want is software that recognises the details and exports them to address book.

Does such a product exist?

No idea.
Probably.
Not sure how expensive it is though.

Not that I know of. Card scanners are notoriously unreliable as well.

The last time I bought one it was from here.

You just need some OCR software. That'll pick up the text so long as it's not some fancy font.
