Best place to buy a Toshiba Satellite ?

I am just about to buy a Toshiba laptop where can I get a good deal on one other than the main stores (Harvey Normans,Domain's,dick smith & so on).

Well, the warranty is direct with Toshiba unless it's a DOA.

So wherever's cheapest is good. What model, specifically, are you getting?

That's a shame mate, could have had an awesome satellite pro if it weren't already going to someone else.

Best thing I can recommend is scan your local PC shops, as the warranty is direct through toshiba (except DOA) you won't have ot deal with them after purchase which will be good as alot of smallish shops tend to market towards people who only come back to buy more shit.

i have just finished shopping around for a toshiba satellite p300 and found the cheapest spot near me was Joyce Maine. the beat everyone else prices and threw in a bag and a mouse. was a good deal.

In retail everybody will beat everybody else, in the end. So when I go shopping I look for the shop that I want to support, decide what the machine/device is worth to me and make an offer.

Personally, I've always been a fan of JB Hi-Fi. They're no-nonsense, they hire geeks (rather than cheap schoolkids) and they're more willing to go out of the way for you because they typically give a shit. Sure, I have friends there but I've found this true of a number of different stores.

JB will match any verifiable price (except online stores) and if they don't have it in stock, they can and will get it for you.
