Aside from the obvious annoyance in another reinstall, can anyone think of any reasons why not to get a larger hard drive for my EEEPC?

I am consdiering getting a 2.5" 5400RPM 160GB drive but am thinking it might be worth just getting the drive and putting it in a USB drive bay.

Thoughts?

Having it as external storage is a waste of the speed.

The 320GB Hitachi Travelstar 5K320 draws bugger all power and is nice and speedy at around $120. Personally I think it's well worth it over the ~$70ish 160GB drives and won't have you wanting to upgrade again for a while (which I'm guessing with the 160GB drive you'll just want to replace it again in 6 months).

Just pop your 80GB into an external storage doodad instead of the new drive.
