Hey Atomicans,

So I made a post a month or so ago about having issues with GR:AW2 (all sorted now, just turned the graphics down a bit).
At that time, WoW was running well on this laptop, but recently I have notices performance decreasing. I used to get 40+ FPS is most places, but now I am prodding along at 20-23 FPS. Also, I don't seem to get any of the graphics effects I do from my other laptop (2 year old IBM). Things like water not being clear/being able to see under the water, light not reflecting off the water, etc.

Is there any way I can tweak around and change my performance? Things like AA and V-Sync.

Turn off the AA ... laptop GPUs are awful in general, so it looks less pretty but should be faster.

Game wise,
Turn off shadows, these things will kill any vid system.
Updated the vid drivers to the latest version?

System wise,

Defragged?

Checked Task Manager to see what's running and using resources?

Done a system clean out...
Hijackthis,
CCleaner,
Spybot,
Virus scanner,
etc.

Ideas are just a thought away.
