Well today it finally arrived. the thing which will enable me to really get the most out of my eee. The thing which will mean my eee becomes that little peice of tech i will always have with me.

Yep i bought it a Razer Pro|Click Mobile. Thats right a 1600dpi bluetooth wireless gaming mouse which is two thirds the size of a standard mouse. http://www.razerzone.com/p-94-proclick-mobile.aspx

Im still waiting for my ASUS BT-21 bluetooth dongle to turn up. You know the ones that are only just bigger that the USB plug. http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=12&l2=113&l3=0&l4=0&model=2207&modelmenu

In the mean time im just using a cheap and nasty bluetooth dongle so i can mess arround with the mouse. So far its a great little mouse. Sadly i wont be able to test it on a game until 2 weeks from now, as mum is taking the eee with her on her trip so she can upload photo and movies while she is away.

But when she gets back, i'll let you know how it goes. Im really looking forward to playing Fallout for the firt time ever, with the eee.

Yay the BT-21 turned up today. Just in time. It will be winging its way over to the US later tonight along with the Pro|Click, a WD 320GB Passport HDD and the 701.

The best part is the whole lot only needs one power plug, and 2 double A batteries. Perfect for traveling.

did you put more ram in it? Or is that the model with soldered RAM.

I think the 2GB US only models had soldered ram, everything after that was changeable I believe.

I could be wrong though.

I think Lunch is talking about the 2gb HDD model.

I did stick 2gig of RAM in mine aswell. Upping it from the 512mb it came with.

Personally i wouldnt put vista on mine. Not untill they come up with a 4GB ram stick. Because of the way vista use's the ram, anything less and the system is really slow.

But there are quite a few people who have put vosta on theirs http://forum.eeeuser.com/ talks more about how to do it, and tweeks so you can get the most out of the install.

Vista works beautifully, aero works well with the latest drivers and all in all, no real loss of power.

Videos play well and the battery management in vista is great.

I am the guy who is installing Vista on an EEEPC, will update as it goes forwards / backwards!

Bought a Logitech V470 yesterday, pairs easily, works well.

It even works well whilst smashing downloads using my phone's bluetooth internet sharing.

I love it.

pity about the EXTREME suckiness of their site though. weird thing is, ive been back a few times in the vain hope that it would suddenly become informative.

Yeah they dont have alot of real in depth info. But if you look arround there are some reviews which seem to have some more details. So far though its the only 1600dpi mobile mouse ive found with bluetooth. Closest after it was a 1000dpi wifi one.
