Seems quite a nice laptop, though as stated only a X1700 lets it down quite a bit. That and the partitioning seems a bit odd to me.

I can't see Asus are targeting with this model either... spec-wise it's beaten on nearly every point by it's smaller (and cheaper) cousin, the G1P.

Nice But I think I would Go the Toshiba p200/X01,Toshiba being the first to release laptops,second to none!and you will save your self around $1000AU

The reason for the missing 13GB is you can never get a HDD to partition with the full 120GB plus the convenience of having a built in recovery in the HDD.
