hi, my old dvd drive is pushing up dasies and iam looking at oe of those light scribe drives. Now my question is , do you need special media to do the lightscribe labeling? or can you use any recordable dvd?

you need to buy discs with a lightscribe surface, and they're always more expensive than normal media.

I prefer inkjet labelling myself, it's faster and more versatile.

Lightscribe discs bought in packs of ten x 4.7gb will cost $30-$40.

Errr no they won't. They will cost about $1.60 each.
