No more P35's, now what should we buy?

I was looking on the netplus website and noticed that the P35's were no longer available.

Considering just about every post for advice about a system suggested a GA-P35-DS3R for the motherboard, where should we turn now for the best bang for buck?

Would Gigabyte still be the brand of choice or should we be looking to other brands?

Thoughts?

The GA-P43-DS3R is quite nice.

Most of the P35 boards now have new P45 revisions which are just as good, if not better.

Gigabyte are still probably the preferred brand here from what I can see, with the GA-EP45-DS* boards, and Asus P5Q boards are also fairly well-regarded. All P45 based.

The EP35 is exactly the same just with energy saving features

I went from a P35-DS3 to a P5Q (P45 vanilla), and am very happy, none of the annoying lag on bootup etc that the DS3 had.
