Atomic CPU & RAM Overclocking Database

Read carefully

FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS YOU MUST USE TINYURL, http://www.tinyurl.com
Otherwise this will get cluttered.

We don't actually have an overclocking record here, I mean this is Atomic and we are naked without one I think.

I will make this as simple as possible and well I will try and make improvements if necessary.

The aim?
To make a list of stable overclocking results for different CPUs and RAM for comparison and e-wang value.

Conditions of Entry?
FOR CPU ENTRIES:
You need at least 4 hours Othos/prime small FFTs stable with a screenshot showing CPU details and a successful prime run

FOR RAM ENTRIES:
You need a stat window showing RAM Timings/speed/settings and at least 32m PI stable screenshot or a few hours of prime Large FFTs

ORTHOS SPECS:
Small FFTs - Stresses CPU most, not much RAM
Large FFTs - Balanced test, uses some CPU and RAM
Blend test - Stressed RAM to the limits, not much CPI

How are sections divided?
This is going to cover a few different areas...
CPU Overclocks

Core2Quad
Core2Duo
Pentium (all)
AMD 64 Dualcore
AMD 64Singlecore
AMD Athlon (all 32bit)

RAM

DDR2 - 2Gb+
DDR2 - <2Gb
DDR - 2Gb+
DDR - <2Gb

The Format? IMPORTANT
For CPU overclocks, example:
Name - Speed(MHz) - CPU - Loaded Vcore - Cooling - Stablility screenshot URL

mock up examples:
Core2
morgoth - 3500MHz - E6600 - 1.5 - Stock - http://www.insertscreenshotlinkhere.com
AMD Dualcore
morgoth - 2900MHz - Opty 170 - 1.52 - Water - http://www.insertscreenshotlinkhere.com

For RAM overclocks, example:
Name - Type - Speed/Timings - Voltage - RAM Model/Size/Chips

Mockup examples:
DDR2 2x1Gb
morgoth - 530MHz 4-4-4-12 - 2.1 - 2Gb Crucial Ballistix PC8000 D9GMH - http://www.insertscreenshotlinkhere.com
DDR 2x1Gb
morgoth - 280 - 3-4-4-8 - 2.8 - 2Gb TEAM X Cronus PC4000 UCCC - http://www.insertscreenshotlinkhere.com
DDR 2x512Mb
morgoth - 250 - 2-2-2-5 - 3.5 - 1Gb TEAM X PC3500 UTT BH5 - http://www.insertscreenshotlinkhere.com

Tips for submission?
**Copy and paste the format, makes it easier for everyone, especially me.
**Use CPUz 1.40 for latest version, best tool for CPU ID
**Use speefan 4.32 for voltage read under load, over a certain Vcore, my C2D reports stock voltage in CPUZ when loading, so I use speedfan.
**Don't submitt until you have finished a session or satisfied with your result, 5 posts in a row with 5Mhz higher stable speed is pointless,
**RAM submissions are NOT in DDR, they are in base speed, for example, DDR1000 is 500MHz

Time for some submissions, I haven't made one yet :P
This is also first attempt, I may need to make some changes.

Ok I'll make a few submissions:

Using TINYURL for submissions

E6600 Core2 Duo - I havent got a prime screenshot at higher speed :(
morgoth - 3350MHz - E6600 - 1.344 - Stockcooler - http://tinyurl.com/352mxz

And I have an OLD result buried somewhere

cant say im running that 24\7 though the extra v needed to get 3.6ghz dosent seem worth it over 1.5v 3.5ghz when that is so dam fast anyway
and i will see if i can get some stability test shots of what my ram can really do sometime

heres a few screenshots i have without enough stability proof though

That's a HUGE vcore for that pissy OC :( My E6600 runs 3.6 on 1.375 ;) BTW it's for sale guys ...$180+ lol

Just got myself a G0 Q6600 from the states...

http://tinyurl.com/2zvflf

That's my E6600 running 3.8GHZ on air cooling.. I can hit 3.9 but it's not stable enough without pumping more than 1.5vcore through it :(

EDIT: Will run orthos overnight and update the screenshot :)

How are you going to rank speeds?

IMO, the "highest" speed doesn't necessarily mean the best overclock.

e.g. A 4.0 GHz run on a 3.0 GHz processor is much less impressive than a 3.8 GHz run on a 2.4 GHz CPU.

So, the question would be: Rank on a> outright speed, b> overclock margin or c> overclock percentage over stock ?

yer iv had 3 dud cpus in a row :( pm 730 did 2.50ghz most were reaching 2.7-3 opteron 170 did 2.5ghz with 4x512 ram 2.6ghz with 2x512 2x256 2.7ghz with 2x512 where as others were doing 2.7-3ghz
and now this e6600 that can do 3.5ghz 1.5v but then it takes a shitload of v to go any further but its fast enough for any current games at 3.5ghz :)

Rybags
im guessing he will split the cpus into there own groups like was done in the 3dmark thread if he ever gets enough entries.... it seems to have been rather slow so far

Would a Pentium Dual Core be put under Pentium (all) or Core2, considering it has an Allendale core?
