Cheap Chinese projectors ?

Anyone here had hands on experience with the cheap projectors on ebay

Im not looking for top of the line performace just sometthing cheap to watch movies on as the replacement bulbs seem cheap also at around the $40 dollar mark.

any input would be appreciated.

You get what you pay for, it'd go alright if you just want a big picture for watching movies but it's not in anyway HD. The native res on that thing is 800x600, in this day and age you really want a projector that can do 1024x768 if not 1280x1024. It's 2000 lumens so you won't need a dark room to get a good picture...

I wouldn't expect wonders with image quallity but if you want to spend the money then its your money to spend. Keep in mind that the pixels are going to be rather large with it only being 800x600 native res

yeah I figured its not going to the latest and greatest but i was hopeing to get someone hands on experience
