22" monitor?

Howdy all,

Have just brought myself a 22" LCD widescreen monitor, as ive never owned a WS before was wondering do i need drivers for it to get correct settings? Any help is appreciated =)

It couldn't hurt to run the installation CD, even just to get the right ICM profiles installed.

(ICM profiles are used by imaging apps to properly display colour.)

Other than that, chances are Windows will detect the available resolutions and let you pick them from the Display settings. Might also be worth hitting up Windows Update, my BenQ FP91G+ had a few driver updates available there.

Thanks for the reply =)

Unfortunately the cd i got with the monitor is just an install for the webcam that came built in which i have no use for so other then that drivers are not present =(

You don't need anything.
If you have Vista, it may download a colour profile for the monitor.
That's about it though.
