Sennheiser headphones not producing sound.

Got a pair of headphones that recently lost sound in the right side of the headphones. The model is HD205. I've taken the ear piece apart to see if there was a loose wire, but there wasn't. Anyone know how to repair it? Any clue or help would work for me

Cheers, Chubby

could be a break in the wire in the cable.

If your options are

A. try something

or

B. Throw out.

I'd try replacing the entire cable. first by cutting ad re-soldering as close as you can to the ear cup, and if its still fucked, right back at the drivers.

Though this is drastic, as i said, its a last resort 'do or die' resort.

though it would be fun.

and you could use better quality connectros\cable! wooo

Where can i purchase a cable. Another thing is i don't think i can take the entire thing apart, cause it seemed impossible to take apart one ear, but i guess its worth a try.

Any recommendations on where to get the cable from?

Jaycar.

grab some cable, grab an audio jack, basic soldering 101.

if you havent soldered much before, audio cable are the BEST thing to start with.

Could be a dodgy speaker, my first set of HD212Pros shipped like that, if they are within warranty, return to reseller, if not, buy a new pair.

Should be in there.

update:

My apologies; Upon examination of the site I see that Syntec only offer "accessories" for that model Senny. No replacement capsules of cables available. Must be a "domestic" model. Oh well.
