something I'd like my new iTouch to do...

I am a proud owner of a 32Gb iTouch, it's pretty.

especially the "view by album cover" option, I like that a lot.

but sometimes albums have more than one disc, and the same album cover can come up one, two or more even six times, and I want it to only come up once, preferably i'd like to hit it, then scoll through the different albums inside, but alas, this isn't so.

is there anyway I can make this happen? or something close?

also, whats a good syncing program I can use that runs from it? I don't want to have to have iTunes everywhere.....

Well, for your first question in terms of album covers, no unfortunately not.

Syncing program to iTouch 32gb (Firmware 2.0 or above) nothing decent except iTunes. Rumours are apple are creating a linux firmware for the iTouch/iPhones, but highly doubt it really.

Being the software control freaks Apple are, I doubt it too. Apple like keeping their iSpyware in the iOperatingSystems.

The album option, rename all double disced albums in itunes to be one disc and start the 2nd CDs tracks to number from the last on CD 1.

This will assosciate them all with one album cover and one disc.

I've always used WinAmp to sync. Don't know if it supports the touch, but i'm sure it would, it supports all the other iPods.

Winamp does sync, but not with album art.

If you are getting CoverFlow with Album Art using Winamp, TELL ME HOW!!
