"just" a PDA

Hey all,

My Mum has had an HP PDA for a few years now ... and it's finally given up the ghost. It was just one of the basic ones (RX 1710 or something, as memory serves) but it did EVERYTHING she wanted and she loved it to bits.

SO

Can anybody recommend a PDA that is JUST a PDA. She specifically does not want a phone, media player, camera or any of that guff. She wants a Windows Mobile-based PDA as close to her old HP as possible:

- (Presumably with a newer version of) Windows Mobile.
- Able to read Office documents
- Synchronises with Outlook
- Reasonable battery life
- Touch screen
- WiFi would be nice

Must NOT have. Dealbreaker.

x phone

Not needed, not dealbreaking but considered a waste of space and capability.

x media-centric features
x camera

What are your thoughts? Surely there's a good WM PDA out there that is NOT a phone ...

Run A query here, then find which ones are available to buy here in Australia, if that's where you are/

N810 you mean.

He's right, they're not phones. But they're not PDA's either, they're internet tablets running Internet Tablet OS 2008, a linux-based operating system.

Great pieces of kit: not what you're looking for.

Of course it *works* as a PDA.

So does my Laptop.

It's not a PDA. The size is not conducive to a PDA.

Most of the HP iPaq range are just PDAs. This is what I'd buy.

The ONLY fuel saving benefit of this product, is that the car expends less energy to accelerate, because your wallet is lighter.
