Cleaning iPod scratches with Brasso

Is Brasso still recommended for iPod scratches? I've done a quick search and it seems to have worked for some people, while for others it has made things a little worse.

What's the best method to do it?

Thanks in advance :)

for the chrome on the back of the ipod?

id go to an auto parts store and get some chrome polish that has the lowest level of cut (abrasion) in it. and a fantastic cloth.

keeping in mind you'll remove the painted label on the back. not that it will matter to anyhting.

Toothpaste.

+1

Also good for emergence rescue of CD/DVDs that are just a little bit too scratched to read properly.

Don't forget to rinse.
