Hi all,

Just wondering what everyone thinks of Telstra's prepaid $299.00 offer on the PALM Centro. I am currently on a $49 cap with droptus and HATE it for obvious resons. If I went with Telstra, I would pay the $299.00 upfront for the phone, and be on prepaid usage...yes I know, its a tad year 10 but I am not spending much on my phone now and you can nominate 5 Telstra numbers to have (almost) unlimited free talk and text to. What does everyone think about the smartphone and the plan too....?

I also havent been able to dig up costs for receiveing and sending e-mails from the phone (an option I would be using), so anyone who knows how that works too....FILL ME IN :p

The general consensus seems to be that it has tiny buttons but is good value. So you'll check one out for yourself to see if you can live with the small buttons.

Here are a few Aussie reviews:

Information on the data costs depend on what email provider you're using. More information is here:

sounds like alot of money, why couldn't just buy second hand and use a prepaid card instead?

I'd get one. They're great little phones, and I love Palm. The buttons may shit you though, so go in and play with one first!

But then again, I find it near impossible to turn the bf off, unless I say his mum's name, a lot. And call him his mum's name.
