Hello everyone,

My mate has an iTouch, and has been notified of the "latest" firmware update which features Mail etc etc, however it is said to cost him $10USD. Is this a lie or what? I'm skeptical as hell, but he's not the type of person to pull a lie like that.. He said he was gonna pay for it. What is this about?

Thanks,
c0nc0n

Yup, Jobsie needs another solid gold Rolls Royce or something...

This is especially galling since you're paying to get back the apps that were initially removed to differentiate the iPod Touch from the iPhone.

On another note, I once did pay to flash something... but the payment was more in line of a custodial sentence. ;-)

I gave up using Macs long ago. So you're right, I haven't used Office 2004. I currently use 2007.

why not get one that has already been updated.. take a dd of its contents and host a torrent for everyone to use instead of paying for the mofo?
