Fastest USB Flash Drive?

Hey,
I'm currently looking at buying a new USB Flash Drive for under $50, 4GB should be enough.

I'm just wondering whats the fastest models these days? Heard good things about the Corsair Voyagers but they are a bit too big for my taste, just want something sleek and very fast. My current RunDisk 4gb is giving me the shits copying lots of files lol

cheers

My Toshiba aint too bad. I bought it for work so I can just take it from computer to computer and load up service programs.

Thing is they come with a U3 software system... pretty annoying if you use XP, but on Vista you can stop it from auto playing, then disable it!

Pretty much my only negative for the Toshi's Flash drives

One of them Sandisk Cruizers.

All USB's are the same shit to me. They allow me to bring my work from home to school vice versa. Don't really care about transfer rates.

It's been a good long while since I've seen a USB flash drive performance comparison, those SSD drives are all the rage in the review circles these days.

Any one that is painted bright red will be very fast. Racing stripes are a plus, and a true indicator of extra performance.

CORSAIR FLASH VOYAGER GT
lash Voyager GT kicks butt, as it has an average read speed of 33.8MB/s.

kingston one isnt too bad, been using the 4gb one for work for all my tech tools and works pretty well. as for speed, they all feel the same, except for some of the really yum-cha some, you know the one you can just tell is cheaply made. those you stay the freak away from even if is just $10 for 16gb is still shit.

1) Super Talent Pico-C
2) OCZ Rally2 Turbo
3) Cosair Voyager GT

In that order. Any of these is fast enough though.

Why don't you go and ask a trained professional down at your local Harvey Norman? :P

Goddam U3 on their titanium drives.

Although, it is removable.

I'm torn with U3 though, cause it is kinda cool and lets you boot an ISO.

If not on ebay, where might one be able to pickup a Pico-C, locally (somewhere in Sydney) ?

I'm guessing these are Pico-C ones, considering they say they are the fastest flash drive:

If you look on the Contact Us page they appear to have stores in Sydney/NSW.
