Hey guys, just need to know if a GTX280 will fit in the Antec900 case? If you want to know, I did a modification by just removing the extra 120mm black plastic port.

thanks for the heads up "Hopes it fits" lol.

Yes, it should fit fine.

No, it's not the best choice right now.

Who cares, it's your money.

It took me about 45 seconds to go to the Antec and see what the inside looks like to make an approximated guess. Im thinking yes... but a tight fit, perhaps a Lian Li might be the better way to go!

ThermalTake Amour Suit should fit the card XD. Lian Li make nice stylish cases but looks nasty inside and not enough room to move around in. This is just my opinion, I am finding hard myself to choose the best case on the market and my friend has ordered the GTX280 XFX Extreme Edition, lucky bastard :P

Just by looking at the Antec 900 myself, it looks roomy but might be "like you said" A very tight squeeze and might need to do a little modifications to the case "OR" buy a new one which is what I do not like to suggest becuase my friend is a 900 fanatic. lol =D

Sorry I made a booboo. That is the Antec Twelve Hundred :P

Im not sure but I think that the 900 is just a little shorter but the same length. I would recommend this little eATX capable number from Lian Li:

Just from looking at it you can tell it will have the room to fit with a bit of breathing space. Plus it looks just so damn pro

well if GTX280 is about the same length as 9800GX2, then the answer is yes. however you'll have to remove the HDD case fan to get it installed. or else move the cage to top and DVD to middle or bottom depending on the mobo you have.
