I have had no probs with deathadder, lachesis or the MS Weel Mouse Optical 1.1 the razers seem to prefer the rough side and the ms optical seemed to prefer the smooth side. {:)

Mine is fine, I just don't like the wrist rest, it's a little too high.

Any Suggestions on how to fix this problem? currently I have my old crappy mouse pad sitting onto of the Exactmat!!! Whats the point LOL.
Not sure why the optics dont work on the mat, on either side.

Could it be that the Keyboard and mouse are wirless?

Any suggestions on a new wirless mouse and keyboard?

Cheers

I have problems with a MS Wireless Notebook Mouse and a Logitech wireless mouse that came with a mx3000 keyboard.

Mice that work well for me so far is the Logitech G7 and the Microsoft Sidewinder.

If you want to go wireless go for the G7. Its a really nice mouse. If you want to go wired I'm not so sure I would recommend the MS Sidewinder. Its nice but I regret not fully looking at the Logitech equivalent.

The wrist rest got thrown out when the mat arrived. Horrible things they are.

Razer wired mouses are great, I've got the Lachesis now, had the Logitech G7 which was awesome too bug I got this Lachesis because it feels better in my hand.

Its probably an issue with the sensor that Microsoft put into their recent mouses.

After the IE 3.0 and the WMO1.1, their sensors have been absolute rubbish.
Doesn't help the fact that wireless mice and designed to use as little power as posible so forgo tracking proformance.

I've got the Logitech G7, and it "only" works on the "finer" side of Razer eXactMat.

Sometimes it won't work on the mat, or it skips a bit. Never had any problems with other surfaces and the G7 mouse, so I assume it must be the mat. Almost seems to me to be a temperature/moisture thing (maybe?)

With the G7 and most laser mice its actualy to do with the surface and how laser mice read surfaces.

I love the eXactmat, I use the speed side for gaming and the control side for general use :P
Try using the rubber bit of the wrist rest as a mousepad, might get some use out of the money you just spent...

EDIT: I have a Razer Diamondback, that's fairly important lol.

I had some problem with the G5 with black surfaces but after a firmware update it works great. It also works fine with my new G9

Im using the Exactmat right now, no problems with the Lachesis ... mind you, it's a Razer mouse so you'd certainly hope not.

I'm using the MX 3200 with Exactmat. Had the similar problem but easily solved by placing the receiver nearer to the mouse.

I know it defeats the purpose of having wireless but it seems to working this way.

The anodized aluminum material must be affecting the wireless signals in some way.
