Probably one of the best threads on Atomic :-)

Great work mate, and I am pleased to know that one of those PSUs are running my system.

That epia review isn't actually too bad, they do proper load testing which is something. The PSU doesn't pass very good muster as far as that's concerned though, going from 12.35V down to 11.7V under load, which is a bit of a bother. There's no ripple testing which would make me worry a bit about that considering the aforementioned variances. Also it's really about a 220W PSU since no modern computer would put more than around 15-20% of the load on the 3.3V and 5V rails combined, so if you take the maximum the 12V can output (180W) and divide that by 0.80 you get 225W.

So in any case I probably wouldn't put that PSU in the same class as the ones in this list.

Couldn't find a review at any of your preferred review sites, sorry -_-

I realise the PSU isn't quite in the same league as the others on this list. It doesn't have 80+ certification for one thing, and as tantryl said the power output is a little questionable. However, it's one of the best SFF PSUs I've seen - and I recommended it for this reason.

It seems that I'm the only person on atomic really interested in SFF computing though. Still, if I can help others I'll try my best.

Yeah, with cases like the LanBox, LanBox Lite, Antec NSK2480 and so on which take full mATX and normal PSUs and full sized PCI/PCIE/AGP cards the shine of the SFF has worn off a bit.

Yeah... I don't really consider them small, though. Too big ^_^

mohawk: That's a good little one. Glad to see it on there!

It's not easily obtainable in Australia.

Not much point recommending things people can't get without going to great effort.

As tantryl has said.

Basically, I do a Static Ice search and if a PSU does not come up on it, there is a very good chance it will not make the list.

There will be a lot of good PSU’s that we will not or don’t get here in Australia. On the other hand, we do get a good selection of good PSU’s here. With that in mind, it is not only easier to source a good PSU here but cheaper as well.

I've found a lot of sites don't show up on StaticIce. Still, it's much easier to compare prices amongst the ones that do.

Sorry about all these false leads. I'll be quiet now >_<

Anyone have a Corsair TX 750, and can comment on its performance please?
I know if passed Big Willy.. but I heard in a few places online that there are a few duds, so am interested to know if anyone has experienced one needing to be RMA'd here.

Every now and then they don't catch some of the duds that leave their factory, other than that, they are great PSU's
