I mainly use PCCasegear personally - May be slightly more expensive than others, but good range and customer service - Been buying from them for a few years now

Me neither, I ordered some CCFLs and other little things like that from them, took 6 weeks to be sent.

Then nothing appeared for a month, and they didn't respond to my emails.

Finally I called them, and it turned out that the package had apparently been "opened" at the airport, and the contents stolen, so they will send me out another one, minus a northbridge cooler that they didn't have stock of.

Not impressed with them.

Oh that's great they decided to ship drugs in your package, that's dodgy. Another thumbs up for pccasegear, but be warned that their modding mesh comes bent not a flat sheet as you'd want. Be sure to add these guys to your mod shop list too:

Anyways, anyone know where to get those rubber edges for fan holes? Can we get them at Bunnings? I don't want FAT rubber edges on my case. What are these things called anyway?

Molding - Usually rubber

For fans I recommend just getting a piece of insulated wire, running a cut along its length, pull the metal wire out and discard, and just use the leftover plastic

Cheap, quick and easy - Plus with molding it usually tends to be thick, creating issues when you try to mount a fan - The wire sheath tends to be thin, so removes that issue, plus allows for the fan to sit more flush against the case

I use just black insulated wire for this for when Im too lazy to file the edges back smooth (All window edges are filed smooth for me - Prefer tthe clean look - Wire insulation for fans, as it reduces construction time, plus I find the plastic between the fan and case helps dampen vibration and noise)

hmmmm.

now that's curious. I've never had any problems with PCCG myself, and I'm all the way off in Perth and I got good service every time I went to PCCG.

Rannnnndom.

Rannnnnnnnnnndom, that's a pretty good way to describe it considering frunj wasn't having issues with PCCG, but rather coolpc ;)

The problem with living in the land of Aus is that if you want to buy most/all of your modding gear in one place, then besides ordering overseas, PCCASEGEAR is pretty much it.

Why this is a problem is that the boys there know exactly that, and so don't really give a toss about after sales service. I've grudgingly been buying gear from them for around 4 years now, after shimozzled experiences with buying gear from performance-pcs and from Xoxide. Since I can remember my orders have either:

- Been 2 weeks late (A common one is items being out of stock even though before purchase you are assured they are indeed in stock)
- is either missing a piece from the order: or
- have been delivered the wrong peices (i.e 3/8" barbs instead of 1/2" or 2x512mb instead of 2x1GB)

One thing I am particulatly sore about is after redoing their website recently (bout 7 months ago), I lost all my purchase history from them beforehand, making it quite inconvenient for warranty purposes.

The main point ot my ramblings is that although you may not have a choice for some modding supplies if you want to buy in Australia besides PCCG, just be aware that once the purchase has gone through, don't be surprised if the smiles fade away and either incompetence, laziness or a lack of interest in looking after their clients begins to rear its' ugly head.

Some hard relatities of PCCG are:

- They will be the only supplier for some kit in Australia so you don't have a choice
- They will sometime take significantly longer then expected to deliver your goods to you
- They will make serious stuff ups too so always check your gear once you've received it to make sure you have everything or that they have sent you the right stuff

EDIT: I almost forgot if stock is missing on their side due to error, and your current order to be delivered, they will charge you delivery fees for both if you want the current stuff while waiting for them to get the gear in (which you were told would be in stock). All round a business with bad habits but good selection.

And as for this, I believe we can agree to disagree unfortuately as I have found Scorptec and Flabbergast to both have fantastic customer service (both before and after sales)

Sorry :(
