im going to assume you dont mean 0.5 of a can diameter wide.. because thats really tiny. i dunno, thats pretty small. im not 100% on the dimensions of pico atx boards, but i have seen some fecking small motherboards, essentially the size of the cpu x 2. I'll see if i can find linkage. powersupply would be the biggest concern methinks, unless you want to build your own. --- the easiest solution would be to whack a usb disk caddy into is and make a 500gb usb minikeg. ----- I once saw a fella move in genuine 3 dimensional space. ... yeah, it was nothin' special

I reckon you could mod a SFF PC, like a Shuttle type thing, into one, with some serious modding. ----- There is a computer disease that anybody who works with computers knows about. Yea i was thinking a nas. SFF might be too much in terms of heat. as i want to reduce the amount of holes in the keg for this so it looks stock. so i think a nas would be best. with a fan in the bottem or something. does anyone know anything about de - pressurising them. i think that they are pressurised like an areosol can. http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3062/29032008090cw4.jpg thats it, its next to a 17 inch LCD, 15" CRT, a G15, 5.25" external drive. and then everything else. sorry about quality. phone cam FTL. one thing that i must do is have the tap become the off/on switch. how much heat would i be looking at for a nas?. i really dont want to cut big holes for fans in it. so there would really just be room for 1 fan in the base. mabye with some mesh over it. and then i guess i would put it on a riser of some sort to get airflow. I had one of those, was just going to turn it into a money box though. There's not alot of room in there, probably less than a shuttle because of the curved top and bottom. ----- http://lubelskie.deviantart.com/gallery/

I had one of these, and was going to mod it into a portable iPod speaker/amp combo. To de-pressurise it, just hold the tap down till the air stops flowing out. I drilled a hole in the bottom, then cut the whole bottom out with a rotary tool. Used it as a rubbish bin around my barbecue till we moved house a few months later, then turfed it. ----- Some people are like Slinkies, Not really good for anything, But they still bring a smile to your face, When you push them down a flight of stairs.

turn it into a stubby cooler, insulate the sides and put a small peltier or something into the bottom, then supply power to it using your PSU amd a pass-thru molex bracket. now THAT would be the shiz. otherwise, nas is good too Edited by G-relk: 3/4/2008 01:18:07 PM ----- core 2 quad q6600 @ 3.0ghz, asus P5b Deluxe, 2 x 2gb cosair xms2 ddr2 800, 2 x 320gb Seagate, leadtek winfast PX7950GX2, corsair 620w psu, modded antec p180b http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x61/g-relk/current%20rig/S6300142-1.jpg

Hmm - Isnt there issues with WC and the metals used? Al and copper are commonly used to avoid these issues. May want to check what the tin is made from and lined with and make sure it wont interfere with the coolant ----- (\ (\ ( ^_^) ( (")(") After I die, I want to be reincarnated as a Ladies Bicycle Seat - Size Small

Quote by Khirareq Hmm - Isnt there issues with WC and the metals used? Al and copper are commonly used to avoid these issues. Yeah, if you have two different metals present in the loop, they create a galvanic cell, or a "battery". Which means that you have not only radiators/waterblocks being worn down, but you have metallic particulates floating around in the coolant, which make it conductive. Conductive coolant + computer = pretty sparks and a mild case of death. So yeah, Al and Cu can be used, but they need a corrosive inhibitor (or buffer), to stop or limit this effect. The easier way is to have a Al or Cu only loop :) ----- Minister of Technology Q6600@3.4GHz,1.34V | Tuniq Tower | Gigabyte P35-DS4 | 2GB 916MHz | Galaxy 8800GT @724/1816/1982 | Corsair 620HX | Auzentech X-Fi Prelude | 320GB Seagate | P182 Gunmetal Australia says NO to Velociraptors!
