Yeah I have got them, they are pretty good BUT, they have one complete arse of a flaw and don't properly work with UPnP devices. So if you are wanting to connect your 360 to a Windows media center PC (for example) you'll run into quite a lot of bother.

I think netgear have a similar problem without that flaw, but I'd say have a look at some forums or do a google.

errg, who would know? One point is in his shed which he tells me is simply hooked up to the house, which is where the other point will be, so I guess it would work?

most houses only have a single phase.

sometimes sheds and whatnot can have 3-phase or a separate phase from the house, but obviously not in this case. It's probably not something you could test for either (without being an electrician)

not sure if it would work, but if you kill the power in the house, does the shed die as well? i think that would signify the same phase...
