You all may or may not remember me updating my resume and asking for any feedback on problems, mistakes and or suggestions of improvements.

Its that time again.

Im already starting to have enough of my current employer and thinking on a new job.

So I updated my resume.

This was the previous.
http://www.moofactory.com/resume.pdf

And this was the original before the previous forum discussion

Any feedback appreciated.

Theirs is no ordinary life they have a secret, By day they are normal but by night things change,
They hot up, they go a bit wild, they get lost in dreams and fantasies, Its like being in a film and living the soundtrack, The music does it, The music.

ive opted for "details available on request"
if they really want them they can bloody well ask..

The real reason though is contact details change over time and I couldnt be bothered having to update them every time someone gets a new number or moves business. its a pain to keep track of.

Havery Norman Newzealand should be New Zealand I suppose.

1994 - ST CLAIR COMMUNITY COLLAGE

Should be community College?

It depends on what job you are going for, but as a general rule keep the resume as brief as possible, why? Because your one of who knows how many people going for a job, you want to make sure the information the employer is looking for is quick and easy to find. Just looking through your resume quickly i found it stood out and got my attention, but i found going through it slow and tedious. So perhaps consider making the resume more efficient, keeping lists to the most important for both you and what the employer is after. Ie if a company wouldn't be interested in particular parts of the work you've done, why bother including it? End of the day your in a design based industry, your design work speaks for itself so keep the text to a minimum and leave the portfolio to reflect the skills you have.

Other than that it looks great.

cheers

Photoshop CS3 hasn't been out for 10 years, so u cant have 10 year experience. haha, but we all know what you mean, just from the header alone i think they'd hire you.

only thing is that in freelance the dates run from past to present, in education training the dates run from present to past. id have them running the same the whole way through.

I guess its not that big realy and u mite not change it, but id have the dates running the same way.

anyway great resume presentation is outstanding

Interesting. Doesn't break the mould, but it's a nice layout.

Do you have an online portfolio?

I know a fair few clients have hired me on looking at my folio alone and while the resume is great some people may want to see some of your previous works to get an idea of whether your graphic style etc is suitable for the job.

Just a thought

Having said that, I need to give myself a kick in the ass and actually rebuild my site... yes.. the one you lot have never seen. It does exist.. its just unfinished.

I like it.

Not sure if it's been changed at all (v3 ?) since the last post.

First thing I noticed in this version however was a spelling error in the illustration section. Charicter design = Character
