My Aiptek 8000U has a wierd problem where I can't draw a straight line in the bottom left corner of the tablet... very frustating (especially when I thought it was just me being crap for ages).

Also just so you know the Aiptek tablets are OEM, they go by heaps of names including Capax Hyperpen etc etc

I'm guessing the main difference is they have less pressure sensitivity (perhaps res too?) and don't have the neat pen?

Yeah the pen is really cheap (is on mine anyway) but the pressure/sensitivity was about on par with graphires at the time

I'm using a wacom graphire4, is not great, but is not bad, pretty accurate. and wacom imo make the best tablet stuff anyway.

Thanks guys I have had a Bamboo fun lent to me for the last few weeks, did take a fair bit of getting used to, but in the end is a fair product.

The only issue is the size; they are just too small for my use...

So now I am hoping that someone will release a bigger one that’s a fair price... but for now I will search ebay till I find a bargain.

Thanks again everyone you have been a big help, and I would have defiantly wasted my cash on an unsuitable product.

Well, the intuos are bigger and they're "fairly" priced. They're not cheap however, but you're paying for quality.
