I still need someone to test that 3d Canvas link, it works for me on this side, but so did the last link, yet others said it wasn't working.

Can someone just click and check that it takes you to the point of being able to d/load 3d Canvas? It's such a great program I want to make sure people can get to it...

Excellent list :)

btw, 'cause it is multimedia, what 'bout adding freeware audio utils?? (even though the thread is called ...Graphic/3d/Animation ...)

i could give a few urls to some audio apps and urls to free audio plugins and effects.

also, what 'bout getting and putting urls to free plugins for all the fabulous apps you've listed (then the thread would get very very big indead, hehe)

I was thinking of adding a new list of links for video and
dvd stuff - but i would just be making a copy of Doom9's
great list - here is my revised list:

Audio/Visual and DVD

Doom9 download list
A huge list of just about everything you could ever need
for video and dvd work. go check it out.
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/leech.htm

Doom9 Link list
contains all the links to the software in the above link
very helpful for xtra info.
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/software.htm

it would be nice if some other atomicans familiar with this area and also familiar with general video editors would like to list some links - it would be great - and help support this great thread :)

After weeks of rigorous testing and contemplation, this thread is sticky.

It's always good to find a free alternative. It beats pirating software.
