The Little Subscription Offer That Couldn't
Virtuoso

Ok, fair enough, Estate. I see how it's open to that interpretation. So I'll set umbrage on 'stunned' and see whether next month's technically-oriented offer tempts me to sign up for another subscription.

And besides, I have limited supplies of rage, and I like to hold some in reserve for things that are really important ;-)

Incidentally and ironically, I actually would like a secondhand PS/2. (For Virtuoson.) But in that regard, I'm certain that's an offer that's not going to appeal to other potential subscribers.

In fact, almost as unappealing as Korean DVDs ;-)

I must admit it certianly wouldn't entice me to subscribe again.
Hell, give me a bloody Atomic stubbie holder ahead of crappy DVD's.

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer.

Yes, even a stubby holder. Even better if it has a blinky green LED in it :-)

You guys should just do another print run of the Atomic stickers.

People can get one of them for free, when they resubscribe. If they've been subscribed for more than x years, they can have two.

Then people can have something geeky and in a language they know, you get free advertising, and they still get a cheap magazine.

Yeah, some of these clear reversed out of a window ones would be extra good. I'd stick one in the back window of my STi.

An Atomic T-Shirt should be given to all subscribers IMO.
Free advertising for Atomic:)
Our muscular chests will be covered from prying eyes:)
Can I have one with a built in de-oderiser?

thing is though

Saying "people are re subscribing so it must be working" is total BS. as has been mentioned people renew their subscription becuse they like the prices and the convienance. So saying that your marketing skills has worked when offering DVDs in a different language just doesn't make sense.

I see where virt is going.. You have these nice items as prizes or what not.. then throw some out of the barrell DVDs that no body really wants but gets them because they have to renew..

Things that I've gathered from this thread and other threads on these forums

* Quite a number of people are interested in these kinds of DVDs
* Virtuoso is not one of them. Neither is Hulkster. And a few others too.

Therefore the DVDs appeal to some people. Unfortunately not all people. But as PV has already said, it's not easy to consistently have monthly prizes that everyone wants.

* You don't have to renew and put up with the prize that is on offer. Virt is not going to. Sounds like he's going to be patient and see what is on offer next month.
