Its a sad state of affairs indeed when I don't feel welcome enough around here that I must exercise my rights under the

yes i had leathers + helmet + gloves + boots on.
no i didnt get action photo's cos its kinda hard to pull out a camera and take a photo @ 240+ ... sheesh.
yeah the speedo tops out @ 240 and yeah i was going faster than that (guessin between 250 and 260)

i do have photos _somewhere_ but CBF even trying to find em right now. this was 10 years ago man.
p.s. my kat was sprayed an aftermarket vibrant blue (closest i can come up with these days is ford "peacock blue")

So when is the new bike due to be on the road?
My land speed record is 270 on the main straight on Eastern Creek. Hopefully to be bettered on the 1st of Sep (at the 'Creek again).
The bird ( http://users.bigpond.net.au/avc/bike1.jpg ) is supposed to be quite capable of 300 plus.

Never been that fast on two wheels, did Adelaide/Port Augusta in just on two hours on my Darmah the day I bought it. That's a little over 300kms but never went much over 200kph, just didn't slow down for anything much at all :-)
